A Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) have arrested four suspected armed robbers at the new constructed Malali/Unguwan Dosa road, in Kaduna State.
The JTF Commander, Mr Salisu Berger said the armed men were arrested on Thursday at about 1: 00 am, with a ten-round magazines pistol, bullets, knives, stick, scissors and mobile handsets.
Mr Berger explained that the suspects were among the criminals terrorising the area and motorists plying the new road.
He said the suspects have since been handed over to the police for further investigations.
A community leader, Mr Bala Saidu Chori, commended Governor Nasiru El-Rufai for constructing the road that linked about 5 communities together.
He further appealed to the state government to put street lights on the new road, to enable security operatives perform their duties efficiently.
