The Secretary to the Government of Niger State (SSG), Ahmed Matane, has commiserated with Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, over the death of Alhaji Abdullahi Umar, Madaki Nupe.
The deceased died in Kaduna after a brief illness.
Matane in a statement issued in Minna on Wednesday said the deceased’s exceptional personality and charisma would be greatly missed by the people of Nupe Kingdom, Niger and Nigeria as a whole.
He said the deceased lived an exemplary and most inspiring life where he motivated and touched so many lives in so many ways.
“On behalf of the government and people of Niger, I want to express our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and also commiserated with the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar and the entire people of Nupe Kingdom over the demise of Madaki Nupe,” he said.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, reward him with Jannatul Firdausi and grant the entire family, Nupe kingdom the courage to bear the irreparable loss. (NAN).
