The Executive Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade
PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –
Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State has sacked his Special Adviser on Forestry Mr Thomas Obi nickname General Obi.
The sack was contained in a press release issued by the Special Assistance to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita.
According to the statement, Governor Ayade also ordered the immediate return of all government properties in his custody.
The sack is coming days after news broke out that Thomas Tawo led his boys on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 to beat up Hon. Mark Obi to coma and threatened to kill him.
Recalled that Hon. Mark Obi served as the Special Adviser on Administration and Special Adviser on Sustainable Development Goals to the Governor Ayade.
He is also a two-time Cross River State House of Assembly member representing Boki Local Government.
