Minister of State fir Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has felicitated a former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole on his 69th birthday.
Prince Agba, who was a Commissioner in Edo State in the Oshiomhole administration, described the former governor as a consistent and persistent pursuer of “the ideals that you cherish and believe in.”
In a goodwill message to Oshiomhole, on behalf of his family and himself, Agba said: “My family and I join your family members, numerous associates and political followers to rejoice with you on the occasion of your 69th birthday.
“In our nation where life expectancy for man, as of 2019, according to World Bank data, was put at 54.5 years, it is quite evident that the Almighty God has been kind to you for gifting you with a longer life in good health.
“The life in your years has been robust, right from your very active years as a unionist, through your tenure as governor of Edo State up to the time of your stewardship as national chair of our great party- the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Even now, as a significant leader of our party, you remain consistent and persistent in the pursuit of the ideals that you cherish and believe in”.
“We know that the best of you, politically, has yet to come”.
“We pray that the Almighty God will grant you a much longer life in much better health to contribute to and witness the realisation of a New Nigeria that the APC is working at.”
