The Borno State Deputy Governor, Hon. Umar Kadafur has officially flagged off the distribution of relief materials and humanitarian supports to the victims of Boko Haram attacks in Hawul Local Government Area of the State.
The Humanitarian support was done in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and The National Biotechnology Development Agency, which is a Non Governmental Organization, sponsored by Hon. Haruna Mshelia, the member representing Hawul/Askira/Uba Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly.
The activities also witnessed the training of women and youths in different skills acquisitions such as: bio-entrepreneurship, hair dressing and treatment, GSM repairs, and the presentation of training stater packs and tools to the trainees.

In his address, The Deputy Governor appreciated the efforts of the Federal Lawmaker for coming to the aids of his people at this crucial time and appealed to other politicians to also assist their people in this direction.
on his part, Hon. Mshelia commended the administration of Govenor Babagana Zulum and his Deputy, Hon. Kadafur for their zeal and determination to move the state forward.
Similarly, The Executive Chairman of Hawul LGA, Ibrahim Hassan, who spoke on behalf of the people in the council, commended the Federal Lawmaker for his assistance while assuring him that the people of Hawul would continue to support him and the present administration in all ramifications.
Other beneficiaries also appreciated the state’s Governments and their Lawmaker for coming to their aids at this critical time.
