ARMSTRONG ALLAHMAGANI, Bauchi –
The Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) says it is deploying no fewer than 858 regular and special marshals for the Easter Special Patrol Operation.
The Sector Commander, FRSC, Bauchi State, Yusuf Abdullahi, who disclosed this on Friday said the operation would be from 13th to 20th April, 2022.
Mr. Abdullahi noted that the operation would be 24 hours daily all through the week.
He said that six ambulances and one heavy duty tow truck would also be deployed.
According to him, the station offices in the 20 LGAs of the state have been fully activated to ensure prompt response to road traffic crashes issues, clear obstructions, public enlightenment and traffic control.
Mr. Abdullahi added that two road side clinics were set up to manage road traffic crash victims and the immediate community, while five help areas have also been positioned in all routes in and out of the state.

Meanwhile, worried by frequent attacks on its operatives by hoodlums across the country, the FRSC in Bauchi State has resorted to seeking divine intervention from God to protect them.
Consequently, the Command has donated food stuffs and other items to the orphanage homes to solicit prayers for its operatives on the line of duty.
The Sector Commander, FRSC Bauchi Command, said the Command is requesting the children to use the opportunity of the Holy month of Ramadan to pray for the protection and safety of the operatives to enable them carryout their mandate successfully.
He stressed that though the operatives are facing high risks on the line of duty, they will not relent in the efforts to ensure an accident free roads across the state.
He said that the primary objective of the FRSC is to minimize ghastly roads crashes by ensuring adherence to traffic rules and regulations by all roads users urging for cooperation.
The FRSC boss, who commended the operatives for risking their lives for a safer road advised them to be security conscious while performing their official duties.
