The Nasarawa Emirate Council of Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has lost one of its senior traditional tittle holder.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Secretary, Nasarawa Emirate Council , Hon. Dr. Idris Mohammed and made available to journalists in Maiduguri, said Dr ishaq Bala Ahmed, the Tafidan Nasarawa died on the Sallah day, Monday night.
The deceased was aged 68 years old and he was a former State Commissioner, one time General Manager of Aso Savings & Loans Ltd. Abuja and before his death, he was also a Senior Lecturer with the Nasarawa State University, keffi.
The statement noted that late Dr Bala Tafida’s remains have been buried in Nasarawa town, in accordance with Muslim rite.

The deceased survived with 12 children and 3 wives, brothers and sisters among others.
