Kano Pillars FC fans have lamented the continued abysmal performance of the team in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
They expressed their worries during fans’ club meeting at the secretariat, situated at Pillars stadium, Sabon gari, Kano.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Secretary, Kano Pillars Fans Club, Malam Rabiu Abdullahi, on Monday in Kano.
The fans called on the management of the club to immediately recall players loaned to Rivers and Katsina United respectively in mid season back to the team.
“We are calling on the management also to recruit two additional experienced strikers.
“We are also appealing to the State government to fulfil the requirement of League Management Company (LMC) by renovating the pitch in order for the club to return back to Kano,” they urged.
The fans who appreciated the State Government for prompt payment of salaries and allowances of players and technical crew, also appealed to all supporters to continue to pray for the success of the team.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Kano Pillars have 18 points from 15 matches and occupy the 14th position in the NPFL table. (NAN)
