At least four people were killed Sunday afternoon in a helicopter crash in Colusa County in the western U.S. state of California, authorities said.
The Colusa County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that it received a report of the crash at 1:15 p.m. local time (2015 GMT) in the area near Highway 45 at Reservation Road.
“Upon arrival, the first responder personnel located four passengers on board the helicopter. The passengers were confirmed deceased at the scene,” said the office.
Investigations are underway, said the office, adding that it is interviewing persons who may have seen the accident.
Colusa County is in the Central Valley of California, around 100 km northwest of the state capital, Sacramento. Enditem
