The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has called on Nigerians to shun politics of bitterness irrespective of political, religious and ethnicity to enhance good governance in the country.
Governor Bello made this assertion when he received the Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani Kayode (FFK) at the Kogi Government lodge in Abuja.
Governor Bello who commended Chief Fani Kayode for the visit, described him as one of the political gladiators in the country.
The Governor further said the task of nation-building is a collective responsibility of every citizen.
The youngest Nigeria’s Governor also urged all stakeholders to joined hand with the present administration under President Muhammadu Buhari in the fight against insecurity that ravaging the country without ethnic and regional differences, noting that the All Progressives Congress remains the hope of Nigeria.
Chief Fani Kayode who described Governor Yahaya Bello as a phenomenal leader and a bridge builder, said it was an honour to have spent quality time with the governor whom he described as “a friend and a brother.
He also explained that his visit to Governor Bello was about the way forward of the country.
The former Aviation Minister also proceeded his walking tour to the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni who is the current Caretaker Chairman of the APC.
