Jumia, an online sales outlet (e-commerce platform) in Nigeria says it has launched its annual brands festival campaign to make authentic products more affordable to consumers.
Jumia in a statement on Wednesday said that the campaign tagged “Beta products, Beta savings,” started on Sept. 4 and would run through Sept. 17, 2023.
It said that through the campaign, it would offer millions of consumers nationwide the opportunity to buy original products from the official stores of several top brands.
According to the organization, the brands would include Adidas, Oraimo, Nivea, Xiaomi, DeFacto, Tecno, Pernod Ricard and Infinix, amongst others.
The Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Massimiliano Spalazzi, said the sales campaign was necessary at these challenging times hence the need to make authentic products, accessible at the most competitive prices.
“We understand the constraints faced by today’s consumers and the need for quality products that don’t need you to break the bank.
“Our collaboration with renowned international brands bridges the gap, ensuring that consumers can work within their budgets while obtaining genuine items,” Spalazzi said.
He noted that consumers could take advantage of the amazing offers during the campaign by simply downloading the Jumia App.
Spalazzi said the campaign would feature treasure hunt, brand days, deals of the day and flash Sales, where consumers could get further discounts on a number of products.
He said the campaign would provide free shipping on a wide range of products to consumers within Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Warri, Benin, Abeokuta, Akure and Port Harcourt. (NAN)
