The National Agency for Food Drugs Administration NAFDAC says it has sealed thirteen milk production factories for operating illegally without registration.
The coordinator of the Agency in Kano, Shaba Mohammad stated this while briefing journalists shortly after conducting the operation in Kano.
He said NAFDAC was committed to fishing out counterfeit and illegal products from circulation in the society aimed at enhancing the health status of the general populace.
Shaba Mohammad maintained that after conducting surveillance on places where the illegal products and counterfeit were being produced in Kano, the agency swung into Action.
Mohammad said that NAFDAC would conduct a thorough investigation on the sealed factories and the needed action would be taken.
