The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has slated Public Inquiries in respect of two draft regulatory instruments for July 20, 2021 with a call on interested stakeholders to make submissions and participate.
The two Regulatory Instruments are: Annual Operating Levy Regulations (as amended) and; Frequency Spectrum (Fees and Pricing etc) Regulations (as amended).
Already, the Commission, in exercise of its functions under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (the Act), has published the two draft regulatory instruments on its website www.ncc.gov.ng for stakeholders’ comments.
According to the publication, the public inquiries have been scheduled to hold virtually at 11.00am on Tuesday, July 20, in accordance with Section 57 of the Act.
The Commission has therefore invited interested stakeholders to make written submissions on the subject and participate in the Public Inquiries, while details of the virtual meeting will be forwarded to interested attendees prior to the Public Inquiries.
All submissions must reach the Commission on or before Monday, July 5, 2021 and should be addressed to: “The Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission, Plot 423, Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja, Attention: Director, Legal and Regulatory Services,” the publication said.
