The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday said its operatives have arrested no fewer than 3 suspects over alleged vote buying in the ongoing Osun Governorship election.
The suspects were arrested around Ward 2 unit 2 Ifelodun Street Isale Osun in Osogbo, the state capital.
The EFCC said in statement that its personnel arrested the suspects who were captured allegedly trading votes for cash.
Their arrest according to the anti-graft agency followed an actionable intelligence through digital means.
The commission, however, said it would charge the suspects to court and begin the process of prosecuting them.
