Kebbi State Emergency Management Agency, (KSEMA) has estimated that over 39,000 household have been displaced due to flooding in 2020.
The chairman of the agency, Alhaji Sani Dododo said 6 out of 11 local government areas in the state, including Bagudu, Kokobese, Ngaski, Shanga, Dandi and part of Zuru, have been severely hit.
He said the state was supporting about seven hundred thousand people displaced by flooding.
Alhaji Dododo said about six hundred kilometres of Fadama farmlands have also been submerged.
He called people to endeavour to assist those affected by disaster.
