Lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Sunday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Senator Alex Kadiri.
She also mourned the passing of former Chief of Defense Staff, Admiral Ibrahim Ogohi, describing their deaths as a significant loss for Kogi and Nigeria.
Senator Natasha in a statement by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr Israel Arogbonlo, praised the deceased as patriotic Nigerians who served the country diligently during their time and brought pride to Kogi.
Senator Kadiri, who represented Kogi East Senatorial District from 1999 to 2007, passed away on June 27th at the age of 82, while Admiral Ogohi, the first Nigerian Navy officer to attain a four-star general rank, passed away on June 30th at the age of 75.
She expressed her sympathy to the families and offered prayers for the repose of their souls.
