The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Sunday it recorded 520 new cases of COVID-19 across the country.
The latest NCDC update indicated a little drop in new cases as additional 5 deaths was also recorded from the deadly infection.
According to the data, Lagos the country’s epicentre of the virus was for the first time out of the daily chart.
The centre noted that Ondo State took the lead with 120 new cases followed by Borno-41 and Ebonyi-37, Benue-33 and Plateau-30.
FCT-29, Nasarawa-25, Ogun-25, Edo-24, Osun-24, Katsina-22, Kaduna-21, Niger-20, Kwara-14, Ekiti-13, Yobe-10, Oyo-4, Bayelsa and Jigawa recorded 1 each.
It added that Nigeria now recorded 146,184 confirmed cases, 120,838 discharged and 1,752 deaths.
