The APC Governorship Candidate for Borno state who also the incumbent State Governor of Borno State, Babagaba Zulum, is leading all the eleven (11) gubernatorial candidates that contested the Saturday’s Governorship election in the state.
Governor Zulum is leading other candidates in 22 out of the 27 LGAs of the state.
Governor Zulum leads with wide range margin ahead of all the gubernatorial candidates including his home town LGA, Mafa, Dikwa, Kinduga,. Gubio, Nganzai, Jere, Kwayar Kutsa, Mobbar, Guzamala, Chibok, Kala Bale, Bama, Kaga , Ngala, Abadam,, Magumeri, Damboa, Bayo, Kukawa, Askira)Uba abd Gwoza LGCs .

The State Collation Returning Officer for the Gubernatorial election adjourned the sitting to Monday morning 10 am for the remaining LGAs Returning Officers, namely,, Biu, Shani, Hawul, MMC abd , Marte, LGCs, who are yet to reach the state collation center in Maiduguri due to deplorable road.
