Tompolo
Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, will on Tuesday receive High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement inaugurates its Ondo State structure.
The event will take place at Democracy Park, Akure, by noon and will also feature the distribution of campaign vehicles and materials ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The Southwest Coordinator of the movement, Orisamoluwa Adekunle, disclosed this in a statement inviting members of the All Progressives Congress, party leaders and supporters of President Bola Tinubu.
Adekunle said the inauguration would strengthen grassroots mobilisation and expand the movement’s presence across Ondo State ahead of the election.
He said the campaign vehicles and materials would support the movement’s efforts to reach more communities and engage residents on the Tinubu administration’s programmes and achievements.
The coordinator said direct contact with residents would form a major part of the movement’s mobilisation strategy.
He added that the inauguration would bring together party leaders and grassroots mobilisers to discuss ways of expanding the movement’s reach and coordinating its activities across the state.
Adekunle described the programme as a demonstration of the group’s commitment to Tinubu’s vision of a prosperous and united Nigeria.
The planned reception for Tompolo by Governor Aiyedatiwa is expected to further underline the cooperation among stakeholders supporting the PBAT Movement and Tinubu’s bid for another term.
Adekunle urged APC members and other supporters of the President to attend the event and demonstrate their support for the 2027 campaign.
He said the movement remained focused on taking its message directly to voters while encouraging greater participation in the electoral process.
Adekunle added that the mobilisation would continue across Ondo State as the group works to build stronger grassroots support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
