Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa
Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of a new Special Adviser as well as chairmen and members of several key government boards and commissions in the state.
The appointments, announced on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, take immediate effect.
According to the statement, Mr. Femi Fadairo has been appointed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and Strategy. He replaces Hon. Gani Mohammed, who has been redeployed to serve as Special Adviser on Mines and Mineral Resources.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also approved the constitution of the Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), with Mrs. Brown Ademilegun appointed as the full-time chairman.
Other members of the board are Hon. Christopher Olorunfemi and Dr. Olarewaju Oyelade as full-time members, while Hon. Tayo Fayanju, Hon. Maurice Oripelaye (ALGON), and Comrade Ayodele Samuel Leke (NUT) will serve as part-time members alongside other statutory members.
For the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, Pastor Segun Ayerin was named chairman. Other appointees include Dr. Bunmi Eniayewu, Barrister Ogbaro Oyerinde, Mrs. Ronke Ojo, and Mr. Alonge Niyi Dennis as full-time members.
The Governor also approved the appointment of Alhaji Adam Chandy as Chairman of the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board. Other members are Alhaji Muhammad Kamaldeen Akinyemi, Alhaji Akorede Nuren Olatunde, Alhaja Fausat Olorunyomi, and Alhaji Abdulrasheed Olawoye.
Similarly, Pastor Peter Abimbola was appointed Chairman of the Ondo State Christian Welfare Board. The board also has Rev. Fr. Patrick Adebayo, Pastor Mrs. Omoyemi Bosede Ore, Prophet Emilere Arabija Aiyedatiwa, and Rev. Jide Baptist as members.
In another appointment, Mr. Oluyemi Fashipe was named Chairman of the Ondo State Consumer Protection Agency.
Congratulating the new appointees, Governor Aiyedatiwa urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedicated and transparent service.
The statement said, “Governor Aiyedatiwa congratulates the new appointees and urges them to discharge their duties with dedication, transparency, and in the best interest of the people of Ondo State.”
It added that “the appointments take immediate effect.”
