TNiger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has commended the Etsu Nupe and Chairman Niger State Council of traditional rulers, Yahaya Abubakar for providing fatherly counsel, and his unwavering commitment to the well-being of the Nupe Nation.
The farmer governor stated this at the Etsu Nupe’s Palace on a visit as part of activities marking the 74th birthday and 23rd anniversary on the throne of the royal father.
Farmer Bago who was represented by the Commissioner for Power and Renewable Energy, Suleiman Umar said, the Etsu Nupe’s commitment has been instrumental to the harmony and progress being enjoyed in the State.

Farmer Bago said Bida Emirate remains a beacon of peace, culture, and unity in Niger State.
The farmer governor said, the exemplary leadership style of the Etsu Nupe and his wise counselling remain key factors to the harmony and progress being enjoyed in the State.
He equally appreciated the royal father’s critical role in realizing the New Niger agenda of his administration as the partnership with the Bida Emirate in ensuring security, economic growth, and infrastructural development across Niger State remains highly valued.
The farmer governor prayed that Allah continues to grant the Etsu Nupe long life, sound health, and greater wisdom to lead the Nupe people to greater heights.
