Jude Bellingham
Jude Bellingham has been named England’s Men’s Player of the Year for a second consecutive season.
His latest award means he is the first England player since Wayne Rooney in 2008 and 2009 to win the supporters’ award in successive years.
Bellingham won the award after making 12 appearances for England during the 2025-26 season, scoring seven goals and providing one assist.
All seven goals came at the 2026 World Cup, where England finished third.
He scored twice against Mexico in the last 16 and added another two goals against Norway in the quarter-final before scoring against France in the third-place match.
His seven goals also made him England’s highest-scoring men’s player at a single major tournament.
The 23-year-old had already reached another milestone during the season, becoming the youngest England men’s player to win 50 caps.
Supporters voted for Bellingham through the official England app, giving him the award for a second year running.
Rooney remains the only other England player to have won the award in consecutive years. He first received it in 2008 before retaining it in 2009.
Bellingham has now matched that achievement at 23, following a World Cup in which he scored more goals for England at a major tournament than any player before him.
His latest award adds another individual honour to an international career that has already included four major tournaments and 50 senior caps.
