Kaduna PDP governorship candidate, Usman Bawa ABG
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Rt. Hon. Shehu Usman Bawa (ABG), has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Kaduna State and across Nigeria on the occasion of the Maulud celebration commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a message to Muslim faithful, ABG urged them to use the occasion to reflect on the exemplary life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his emphasis on peace, compassion, justice, unity, tolerance and love for humanity.
He said the significance of Maulud goes beyond celebration, urging Muslims to use the period to renew their commitment to the values of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and understanding among Nigerians, irrespective of their religious or ethnic differences.
ABG specifically called on the Muslim Ummah to use the occasion to offer special prayers for an end to the insecurity confronting Kaduna State and other parts of the country, stressing the need for peace and security to enable citizens to live and pursue their livelihoods without fear.
The PDP candidate also urged Muslims to pray for relief from the economic hardship being experienced by Nigerians, saying the current difficulties faced by families and businesses require collective prayers, compassion and responsible leadership at all levels.
He appealed to religious and community leaders to continue using their platforms to promote peace, discourage hatred and strengthen understanding among communities, noting that unity remains critical to the development and stability of Kaduna State and Nigeria.
ABG further called on citizens to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by showing compassion to the less privileged, supporting vulnerable members of society and promoting justice and peaceful coexistence.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to accept the prayers and acts of worship of the Muslim Ummah, grant peace and security to Kaduna State and Nigeria, and ease the economic burdens confronting citizens.
The PDP governorship candidate also prayed for divine wisdom and guidance for the nation’s leaders, urging them to govern with justice, compassion and a strong commitment to improving the welfare and living conditions of the people.
ABG wished Muslims across Kaduna State and Nigeria a peaceful and spiritually rewarding Maulud celebration, urging all citizens to use the occasion to pray for an end to insecurity and economic hardship and to work collectively towards building a peaceful, united and prosperous society.
