—-Inspects N4.7 billion reference hospital in Kogi.

The Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on has formally flagg-off the All Progressive Congress (APC) membership registration and validation exercise at his country home polling unit 11 Agassa, Ahache, Okeneba ward in Okene LGA of the state.
The governor who was accompany by his wife, the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja and other prominent political office holders in the state, said in line with the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari to rebuild the party from bottom up, he was ready to build the party and make it one of the strongest party in the country.
“We are registering and validating members into our party. People make the party. President Buhari has advised us to rebuild the party from bottom up. I have received nothing less than 25 million people that are ready to join the party,” he said.
“We are charged to mobilise, sensitize, educate all Nigerian citizens, those that are in the party and those that are not in the party to join APC, all the youths, women those in other politicl party can join the party. It is only in APC that you can realised your dream,” he said.
Meanwhile, governor Yahaya Bello on Tuesday inspected the ongoing construction works at the Kogi State Reference Hospital in Okene which he would cost the State Government the sum of N4.7 billion.
The Governor who was led by the Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engr. Abaubakar Ohere, inspected the over 300-beds space hospital which would be equipped with state of the art medical equipment.
He disclosed that when completed, The Kogi State Reference Hospital, Okene and other health infrastructure his administration is providing would address medical needs of the people of the state and Nigerias by extension.
Governor Bello, however, commended the contractors, site engineers and other construction workers for the speed and quality of job done so far.
On the roads, he reiterated that his administration has release over N4 billionaire naira for roads construction projects across the state.
