Sokoto State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC), Muhammad Saleh Dada has paraded 11 suspected criminals that are engaged in acts of banditry, cattle rustling and kidnapping in parts of the state.
According to Saleh Dada, the Command also recovered 44 cows rustled by the bandits who are between the ages of 18 and 40 respectively.
The bandits in their confessional statements admitted to belonging to a high profile syndicates of kidnappers terrorizing the eastern axis of Sokoto State, adding that they can recall killing six people in the cause of their operations so far.

They further noted that their notorious activities streches to other local government areas of Sokoto such Tureta, Wurno and Dange Shuni bordering Zamfara State.
The criminals paraded include, 20 years old Buba Alhaji Bello(Dan Delu), 20 years old Alto Shehu, 25 years old Abu Alhaji Gidado, 20 yeats old Shehu Alhaji Modibbo, 20 years old Ibrahim Sani Duna, 18 years old Abdullahi Hassan (Yellow), 22 years old Ibrahim Alhaji and 20 years old Modi.
Others are 20 years old Muhammadu Aminu and 20 years old Buba Alhaji Garba, whose operational bases include Dabagi Lafiya in Dange Shuni.
Both 48 years old Umar Sanda and 34 years Nura Alhaji Bello were also paraded for operating as bandits informants and food suppliers.
Some of the bandits who claimed their involvement was partial admitted they are being paid 10, 000 each at the end of every successful operation.
While insisting that the Sokoto State Command of the NSCDC will continue to do all within its powers to sanitize the state from criminals, the commandant assured that they will be made to face the full wrath of the law after conclusion of investigations.
He further appealed to all and sundry to be security conscious and collaborate with the security agencies by providing relevant information at all time.
