The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto State has resolved to boycott the forthcoming Local Government Elections in the state.
In a statement signed by the caretaker chairman of the party in the state, Isah Acida, alleged that the composition of the state Independent Electoral Commission were all PDP Card carrying members.
The leadership of the party also called on their supporters not to participate in the election.
According to him, the state electoral commission did not consult the APC on the preparations and timing for the election among other issues.
