All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State has said the donation of 28 campaign vehicles by the National Coordinator of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door-to-Door Movement, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has strengthened the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were presented during the weekend to support the campaign for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election. Each vehicle is fitted with a public address system and branded with the images of President Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas and his running mate, Hajiya Zeinab Ibrahim, popularly known as Aunty Zee.
Speaking with NATIONAL ACCORD on Monday in Jalingo, the APC Publicity Director in Taraba State, Mr. Aaron Atimas, described the donation as a major boost for the party.
He said the arrival of Tompolo and other APC leaders in the state had encouraged party members and campaign groups ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to him, the vehicles have strengthened the morale of the APC campaign organisation, coalition groups, party officials and candidates, while improving the party’s mobilisation across the state’s 168 wards.
> “We have since last weekend cash into the donation of vehicles by the National Coordinator of the PBAT Door To Door Movement, we have been on ground, this an added advantage to us, it has really busted the mural of our party members, campaign organization, coalition groups, party stewards and candidates contesting elections under our party,” Atimas stated.
Governor Agbu Kefas also welcomed the donation and assured Tompolo that the state was prepared to support President Tinubu in the next presidential election.
> “I want to tell my friend Tompolo that Taraba is ready, you don’t need to tell the people of Taraba state about what the president is doing, they are seen what the president is doing through me.
> “We are moving forward with the mandate of the renew hope agenda of Mr. President, by the grace of God, we are going to all the units and the wards to commission and flagg off projects not telling stories, I want to assure you that we are going to turn up emass to give the President 100 per cent votes in Taraba state,” Kefas stated while receiving the donated vehicles.
