The police authority in Anambra state has arranged two men, 45-year-old Chidiebere Uzoma and 23-year-old Uchenna Nwegbu, in a Magistrate’s Court for allegedly raping a sixteen-year-old girl.
In a statement on Saturday by The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Haruna Muhammed, said the victim was raped at Osumowo street, Awada in Idemmili North Local Government Area, to the state of unconsciousness due to excessive loss of blood.
According to the police report, the medical examination confirmed penetration and multiple lacerations of the hymen.
The victim is still in the hospital, he added.
