Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, is set to host believers from different parts of Nigeria as preparations gather momentum for the 2026 Confluence Prayer Conference (CPC), an annual gathering focused on spiritual revival, purpose discovery and renewed commitment to God.
This year’s conference is themed: _“Marked, Made & Mandated_,” a message the organisers say reflects God’s call for people to rediscover His purpose for their lives and faithfully carry out their divine assignments.
According to the Convener of the conference, Pastor Omaga Okolo, CPC is open to everyone, regardless of age or background, describing it as a place where lives are renewed, destinies are restored and people encounter God.
He said, “Confluence Prayer Conference is an annual gathering point for believers, the strong, the weak, the young, adult, older persons for renewal, salvation package, refreshing and a place to discover purpose and work in God’s plan.”
Speaking on the inspiration behind this year’s theme, he said, “The urgency of God’s need in our world today, as the gates of hell is wide open to take men in. This urgency was raised to call people back to purpose even God’s divine will to work for and walk diligently with the Lord so we can meet with him in the clouds.”
Pastor Okolo explained that the theme is drawn from the biblical truth that God knew and appointed His people before they were born.
He said, “Before we were formed in our mother’s womb he knew us and appointed us prophets to the nations.”
Describing the conference as a prophetic gathering, he added, “This is a prophecy and we gather here to bring to life what the Lord has prophesied in every person’s life. In this life will they find fulfillment and joy everlasting.”
The three-day conference will feature teachings, fervent prayers, worship, deliverance sessions, impartation, words of knowledge, purpose discovery and ministrations in songs. Participants are also expected to experience what the organisers describe as open heavens, blessings and victory.
The conference will host Professor Hassan Achimugu, Rev. Tolulope Oladele, Pastor Monday Alikali, Pastor Simeon Onuh, Pastor Ugbede Moses, Pastor Omaga Okolo, Minister Gideon Okpeke, Minister Jakes Ahonsi and other anointed ministers.
Although organisers did not give a specific attendance figure, they expressed confidence that many worshippers from Lokoja and across Nigeria would participate.
Explaining why Lokoja was chosen as the host city, Pastor Okolo said, “This is where God has placed His attention as the seat of revival in Nigeria for this mighty move and we walk according to His directive.”
Beyond the spiritual activities, the conference will include a special career engagement session, while youth empowerment, community development and outreach programmes are expected to continue after the event.
Registration for the conference is compulsory but free. Interested participants can register through the official registration link at: https://forms.gle/YsVfuMrsuMrJ91Dw9 or QR code shared on the organisers’ social media platforms, while additional information is available through the contact numbers on the conference flyers.
Inviting Nigerians to attend, Pastor Okolo said, “The world awaits the manifestation of every son of God. Manifestation is our Mandate, however, this Conference is a process to secure the Mighty Hand of God to fulfill every God’s ordained assignment over your life.”
He added, “God is set to bring you back on track completely and change your life. Let’s meet up here and experience His mercies together.”
