The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Deputy Chairman North, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, has visited Konduga town to console the families of victims of the recent female suicide bomb explosion at the fish market.
The blast claimed 12 lives and injured 22 people.
Dalori prayed for the forgiveness of those who lost their lives and quick recovery for the injured.
Dalori urged security agencies to intensify their efforts, carrying out 24-hour surveillance to prevent further attacks. “We need to ensure that our communities are safe and secure,” he emphasized.
He commended the military for their sacrifices and pledged to continue supporting congregational prayers for peace and stability in the area.
The APC leader announced an undisclosed financial support and medical aid for the victims.
He also paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Baba Modu Zulum, a former Party Vice Chairman in Borno State.
The APC National Deputy Chairman North was accompanied by Deputy State Chairman Borno South Aliyu Yerima, Engr. Kabir Wanori, Executive Secretary, NICTDA, Abba Sake Special Advisers, Chairman Konduga LGC Abba Abari, Mustapha Daima, APC Part Chairman Kaga, Executive members of APC in Konduga LGC and other party supporters and stakeholders .
