Fresh from his two-week leave and back at work, Vice President Kashim Shettima is departing the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Vice President will proceed to commission the 33.5-kilometre Elele–Egbeda–Omoku Dual Carriageway, one of the major infrastructure projects being inaugurated by the Rivers State Government. The road traverses Ikwerre, Emohua, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government areas and is scheduled for commissioning today, August 20.
VP Shettima has hit the ground running, returning immediately to the business of national service and the Federal Government’s @NigeriaGov continuing engagement and collaboration with states on infrastructure and economic development.
