Yobe State Government is set to partner The African Development Bank in areas of water, sanitation, Healthcare delivery, education and Empowerment programmes among others to improve the lives of the people of the state.
This was contained in a statement by Mamman Muhammed, Director General Media and Press Affairs to the
Governor Buni said the partnership was necessary to fast track the recovery plan of the state government and improve the lives of the people.
The Country Director, African Develooment Bank, Mr Lamin Barrow commended Governor Buni for working hard to provide accessible healthcare to the people.
“The healthcare centres your administration has put in place would no doubt improve the quality of life of your people and we will support you in this direction.
Mr Lamin Barrow explained that the bank was also considering agricultural development along the Kumadugu Yobe river basin.
