National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, will on Friday inaugurate the party’s Presidential Campaign Council as preparations begin to organise its campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the ADC National Chairman, Kola Ologbondiyan, disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen on Thursday in Abuja
Ologbondiyan said the ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja on October 9, 2026.
According to him, the inauguration will bring together ADC leaders and candidates contesting various elective positions in the 2027 elections.
Those expected at the ceremony include governorship candidates, National Assembly candidates and State House of Assembly candidates, alongside other party leaders.
The inauguration is expected to mark a key step in the party’s preparations for the presidential election and the wider 2027 electoral contest.
The Presidential Campaign Council is expected to provide a platform for coordinating the party’s campaign activities as the election approaches.
The event also brings together candidates and party officials from different levels of government as the ADC prepares for the nationwide political contest.
