Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno and Chef Hilda Baci
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has commended renowned Nigerian chef, restaurateur and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, for her bold and adventurous spirit, which has contributed to her record-breaking achievements.
Eno gave the commendation on Wednesday when he received Baci in his office in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.
He noted that Baci’s success story demonstrated that determination and courage could enable individuals break barriers and achieve remarkable feats.
He also commended her for making Akwa Ibom State proud through her cooking exploits and urged her to continue to fly the state’s flag high.
Earlier, the celebrated Baci, an indigene of Akwa Ibom State, described the pace of development, peaceful atmosphere and investment opportunities in the State under Governor Eno’s administration as remarkable and heartwarming.
Speaking with reporters shortly after the meeting with the Governor, she commended the Governor’s vision and leadership, describing Akwa Ibom as “amazingly beautiful.”
She expressed delight at the world-class facilities at the Victor Attah International Airport, noting that the infrastructure was first-rate and impressive.
She also praised the hospitality and industrious nature of the people of the State, promising to partner with relevant stakeholders where necessary to further support the State’s development.
The Guinness World Record holder urged tourists and investors to visit Akwa Ibom to explore its environmental, recreational, hospitality and other investment opportunities, which, she said, could help businesses maximise their potential.
She further called on the people of the State to continue to promote love, unity and peace as a means of attracting sustainable development.
