Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has achieved a remarkable feat in his drive to develop the state. Since assuming office in May 2019, Zulum has constructed over 20,000 houses in at least 23 ultramodern estates across the 27 Local Government Areas of the state.
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi.
According to the statement, “One of these ultramodern estates is this Metro Housing Estate.
“Named after the Vice- President, Kashim Shettima, the Estate is located on the massive erstwhile barren Metro Police playground in Maiduguri, the state capital.
“These 72 units of 3-bedroom, 2-storey modern architectural masterpieces were built by the Borno State Government for senior military officers, sister security agencies, and other employees of the Federal Government.
“The elegant edifice is fitted with ultramodern facilities, including a shopping mall to cater for the basic needs of residents.
Governor Zulum led administration has executed over 1,200 capital projects in the past five years, demonstrating his commitment to transforming the state. His efforts have focused on providing shelter, infrastructure, and economic opportunities to the people of Borno.
