The incident has continued to generate debates in Nigeria.
Nigerian music sensation Simisola Ogunleye, widely known as Simi, has publicly demanded accountability for the airport worker who recorded and shared a viral video exposing passenger Comfort Emmanson.
The incident occurred at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, where Emmanson was filmed during a distressing removal from an aircraft belonging to Ibom Air.
Taking to social media on Tuesday, Simi, married to fellow artist Adekunle Gold, condemned the unedited video that revealed Emmanson’s private moment to millions.

“Even if the woman acted out, why was her exposure recorded and shared without any effort to protect her dignity?” Simi questioned, emphasizing the need for professionalism and respect for privacy.
She further stated, “Whoever posted that video, knowing it showed her in such a vulnerable state, should face consequences. Only a handful saw it in person, yet millions saw her humiliation online. That’s unacceptable.”
Simi’s call to action shifts focus from Emmanson’s alleged behavior to the ethics of recording and sharing such sensitive footage, urging sanctions for those responsible for the privacy violation.
