VALGEE Transport Services Limited has expanded its fleet with additional Toyota Sienna vehicles to increase its capacity to serve passengers travelling between Jos, Plateau State, and Abuja.
The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Liberty Makwin, disclosed this on Wednesday during the unveiling of the vehicles in Jos.
He said a substantial number of the newly introduced vehicles would be deployed on the Jos–Abuja route as part of efforts to improve vehicle availability, booking arrangements and departure schedules.
According to him, the expansion reflects the company’s response to passenger demand and its commitment to improving service delivery along the interstate corridor.
“A substantial number of the new vehicles will be deployed on the Jos–Abuja route, reflecting our strategic importance to the company’s operations,” he said.
Makwin added that the company was also strengthening its internal operational systems, including vehicle coordination, booking processes and service delivery, to ensure that the increase in fleet size translated into a more organised travel experience.
He said dependable interstate transportation involved not only getting passengers to their destinations but also ensuring that they could secure bookings and travel with greater confidence.
“Our focus has always been on building a transport service passengers can depend on. As demand grows, we are strengthening our capacity, improving our systems and ensuring that the VALGEE experience continues to meet the standard our passengers expect,” he said.
Makwin said the additional vehicles were expected to provide passengers with more travel options and help the company manage periods of increased demand.
He added that the expansion was part of efforts to improve operational efficiency and sustain passenger confidence in the company’s services.
The company said it would continue to strengthen its operations as demand for interstate transportation evolves.
