The North-West youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and other APC candidates in the zone for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced on Sunday at an event held at the Command Guest House, Muhammadu Buhari Way, Kaduna, where party supporters and youths from across the North-West gathered to reaffirm their commitment to the party’s leadership and political agenda.
Speaking at the event, Abdulazeez Abubakar Kaka, North-West Zonal Director of Youth Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), said the endorsement marked the beginning of activities aimed at mobilising young people across the zone for the re-election of President Tinubu and other APC candidates.
Kaka said President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani deserved a second term to consolidate their achievements and complete the programmes and projects they had initiated.
He commended the policies of the President, saying his administration had demonstrated a commitment to national development, while describing Tinubu’s record in office as deserving of continued support.
The APC youth mobiliser also praised Governor Uba Sani for his administration’s interventions in Kaduna State, expressing confidence that another term would enable the governor to sustain ongoing projects and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.
According to him, the decision to endorse the two leaders was informed by their performance and the need to ensure continuity in governance.
Kaka also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu for finding him worthy of appointment as North-West Zonal Director of Youth Mobilisation in the Presidential Campaign Council, describing the appointment as a call to service.
He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by working with other party stakeholders to mobilise youths across the seven states of the North-West for Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
He further thanked his leader in the City Boys movement, Seyi Tinubu, for his support and confidence in him, promising not to disappoint him.
Addressing the large crowd of youths and party supporters at the venue, Kaka urged them to remain committed to the APC and take an active role in mobilising support for the party ahead of the elections.
He said the youth population remained a critical force in determining the outcome of the 2027 polls, adding that sustained grassroots mobilisation would be key to the party’s electoral success in the North-West.
Also speaking, the Deputy Governorship candidate, Jerry Adams, urged youths to turn out in large numbers on election day to vote for President Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani and other APC candidates.
Adams said both leaders had made significant contributions to the development of the country and Kaduna State, particularly in education, infrastructure, workers’ welfare and healthcare.
He noted that Governor Uba Sani’s interventions across these sectors had demonstrated his administration’s commitment to improving the living conditions of residents.
According to him, the 2027 elections would provide an opportunity for the people to reciprocate the efforts of the President and the governor by voting for their re-election.
Adams urged the youths to sustain their support for the APC, insisting that returning the party’s candidates to office would enable them to consolidate on existing achievements and deliver more development to the people.
