Tottenham Hotspur ended their winless run with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City on Sunday, as James Maddison marked his return with a goal and Dejan Kulusevski made his first appearance in 526 days.
Maddison put Spurs ahead in the 14th minute with a superb strike, giving the visitors an early advantage.
Coventry responded three minutes into the second half through J. Rudoni, but Tottenham regained control when D. Marmoush restored their lead in the 58th minute.
Ben Davies then put the result beyond doubt with a goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time to seal a much-needed victory for Spurs.
Beyond the three points, the return of Maddison and Kulusevski offered Tottenham another reason to celebrate, with both comebacks providing a timely boost as the club looks to build momentum after its difficult run.
