Frontline All Progressives Congress (APC), gubernatorial aspirant in Niger State, Alhaji Ibrahim Yahaya Mohammed (Talban Samarin Nupe), has called on Nigerians to set aside their differences and work for the peace and development of the country.
Mohammed, stated this in a press release on the occasion of Nigeria’s 61st Independence Day celebration.
The release isssued and signed by one of his close associates, Yunusa Ali Paiko, quoted him as saying that “we are duty bound to work for peace and development of our dear country.
“I congratulate fellow Nigerians as we celebrate the 61st independence anniversary of the nation. And, urge compatriots irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations to always put the interest of the country above any other consideration”, the release added.
In this vein, the Talban Samarin Nupe also popularly known by his business name Sokodeke, said his resolve to succeed Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, in 2023, “was informed by the need to use the instrumentality of government to contribute my quota in the development of the state in a manner that will have multiplier effect on the onerous task of a better Nigerian”.
According to the philanthropist and leading aspirant for Government House, Minna, “that we have come this far as a nation calls for celebration and redoubling of efforts in line with the Federal Government’s drive to make Nigeria take its rightful place amongst the commity of nations”.
He then thank his teeming supporters for their unalloyed loyalty and urged them to pray for the peace and unity of the country “as we celebrate 61 years of nationhood”.
