All Progressives Congress (APC) North-Central Chairmen Forum has reaffirmed its unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu’s transformative agenda, asserting that no obstacles will derail the administration’s commitment to progress.
Speaking to journalists at the APC national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, Mr. Sunday Fagbemi, the Forum’s Chairman and Kwara State APC Chairman, emphasized the administration’s focus on driving Nigeria’s growth.
Fagbemi, leading a delegation of North-Central state chairmen on a condolence visit to APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda—whose mother passed away on August 17, 2025, at age 83 in Jos University Teaching Hospital—highlighted the core pillars of Tinubu’s agenda.
“The administration is built on democracy, development, demographics, and diaspora engagement,” Fagbemi stated, underscoring the party’s dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He noted visible progress, saying, “We’ve seen President Tinubu weathering the storm, and the results are evident in economic recovery and infrastructure development.”
Fagbemi acknowledged challenges but remained optimistic, citing declining food prices due to economic diversification.
“As the opposition has admitted, four years isn’t enough to fix a battered system, but significant strides have been made,” he said, urging focus ahead of the 2027 elections.
Echoing Fagbemi, Dr. Aliyu Bello, Nasarawa State APC Chairman, called for continued public support, asserting that the economy is on the right track.
“The bold steps taken by President Tinubu are yielding results,” Bello remarked, pointing to increased state allocations that even opposition-led states have welcomed.
He also addressed insecurity in the North-Central region, stating, “With God on our side, we will overcome this challenge soon, as it’s not unique to Nigeria.”
Bello expressed confidence in the APC’s trajectory, saying, “Nigeria’s project is ongoing, and the people’s trust in us will not be betrayed. We will do even better.”
