Cross River State Sector Command, Ocheja Isaac Ameh and the NUJ State Chairman, Comrade Victor udu during a courtesy visits in Calabar
PATRICK ABANG, Calabar –
The Cross River State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC) is partnering the Nigerian Union of Journalist Cross River State Chapter to reduce carnage on the road during the ember months in the State.
The State Sector Command, Ocheja Isaac Ameh disclosed this on Wednesday at the Ernest Etim Bassey Press Centre Calabar during a courtesy call on the State Chairman Comrade Victor udu.
Ameh said “We are here to identify with major Stakeholders and (NUJ) is one of them , that is the essence of my visit to the union”, he started.
“I am aware of existing cordial relationship with with my predecessor and I will surpass the records set by him”
He said this is the period of high volume of vehicular movement and urged the Union to join in the fight of enforcing traffic regulations in the State.
In his remarks, the State Chairman of (NUJ) Commrade Victor Udu promised the new sector Commander of a robous relationship with the Union.
Udu said the Union is always determined and ready to be part in reducing the volume of road mishap during the ember months in the State.
