Senator Adebayo Sikiru Oshinowo, representing representing Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, is reported to to be dead.
The 64-year old Senator (also known as Pepper), was a staunch member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state.
Born in Ijebu – Ode on November 28, 1955, Oshinowo had his primary school at St. Augustine primary school in Ijebu-Ode and his secondary education at Issoyin Grammar school, Isoyin. He studies Building Technology at the Instituto Per geomettra, in Rome, Italy and obtained his Master’s degree at Urbania University, also in Rome, Italy, specialising in Building Technology.
He was a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly for four consecutive terms from 2003 to 2019, before his election into the 9th Senate.
It could not be immediately ascertained where Senator Oshinowo died, but thgere were suggestions in certain quarters he might have died of complications from the novelo coronavirus (COVID-19).
