Nigeria’s total conformed cases of COVID-19 hit the 30,000 mark on Wednesday, with the announcement of 460 new cases recorded by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
This was made known by the health agency on its official twitter handle @NCDCgov late Wednesday night.
Specifically, it said the 460 new cases brought the total number of infections in the country to 30, 240, with 12,373 discharged and 684 deaths.
According to the NCDC, the 460 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from Lagos-150, Rivers-49, Oyo-43, Delta-38, FCT-26, Anambra-20, and Kano-20.
The rest came from Plateau-18, Edo-14, Bayelsa-13, Enugu-13, Osun-12, Kwara-10, Borno-8, Ogun-7, Kaduna-6, Imo-4, Bauchi-3, Gombe-3, Niger-2 and Adamawa-1.
