The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced on Monday that it recorded 390 new cases of COVID-19 , bringing total infections in the country 69,645.
According to the daily update on its official twitter handle @NCDCgov, the new infections were recorded from 20 states including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
It added that of the total infections, 64,947 were discharged whiee 1,181 deaths had been recorded since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country early this year.
A breakdown of the 90 new infections shows that FCT and Gombe had 89 cases each, followed by Kaduna with 62, Lagos-35, Kwara-15 and Borno-13.
The remaining cases came from Nasarawa-10, Rivers-10, Bauchi-8, Ogun-8, Osun-7, Bayelsa-7, Kano-7, Edo-6 ,Taraba-6, Ekiti-5, Katsina-5, Akwa Ibom-4, Delta-3 and Sokoto-1.
