The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Charles Soludo, has reportedly defeated his main opponents, Andy Ubah of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) and Valentine Ozigbo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in their local government areas.
Mr Soludo has polled more votes than his two contenders in Aguata LGA, the three top contenders’ native council. However, the trio won in their respective polling units in Isuofia, Uga, and Amesi town all in Aguata
Out of the 20 wards that make up the LGA, Mr Soludo won in Isuofia, Igbo-Ukwu I and II, Nkpologwu Ekwulobia II, Umuchu I and II etc.
