Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Dr. Patrick Dakun addressing newsmen in Jos

The Labour Party governorship candidate in Plateau State, Dr. Patrick Dakun has appealed to Nigerians suffering insecurities, flood disaster and the current economic hardship to endure more, as their suffering would soon be history, if elected governor in 2023.
Dr. Dakun stated this in an interview with journalists at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Plateau State Council, in Jos; shortly after he paid a courtesy call on the executives of the council behind closed doors.
He said the Labour Party under the leadership of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate intends to run an all inclusive government, that could accommodate all sectors of the economic should he become President of Nigeria.
Dr. Dakun, who is a former Commissioner of Health, said his administration in the state would be democratic, civil and human, in dealing with issues affecting citizens.
Commenting on the ongoing rivalry between Labour Party and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Plateau State, the gubernatorial candidate said a large number of his supporters are members of various political parties who are interested in the ideology of Labour Party.
It would be recall that Dr. Dakun, was a former governorship aspirant of the APC, who left the party in protest on the day of the party’s primaries.
Dr. Dakun, however, said he is optimistic in winning the forthcoming 2023 governorship election in Plateau State, insisting that he is determined to correct wrongs of the past to salvage citizens from insecurities, and bad governance.
