Former Kano State Governor, Rabui Musa Kwankwaso has pledged to tackle insecurity, provide quality education and initiate good economic policies that will boost the country’s economy if elected president in forthcoming 2023 general election.
Alhaji Kwankwaso made the pledge on Monday while delivering a speech during a meeting with NNPP delegates at The Kolanut Center in Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
The former Defence Minister boasted that if he is elected as president in 2023, the issue of insecurity which has bedeviled the nation in recent times would be a thing of the past.
“I will tackle insecurity, provide quality and good education and better economic policies that can lift the nation to higher pedestal, he said.

In his earlier remarks, The Cross River State NNPP Chairman, Mr. Tony Odey stated that with the emergence of Kwankwaso as the country’s next president, the insecurity problem troubling the country would have been an issue of the past.
He noted that all hands must be on deck to ensure the emergence of Kwankwso as the next president of Nigeria.
“A better Nigeria is possible with Kwankwaso. Despite the dollarisation of Nigeria politics, we have gotten a developer in the person of Engr. Rabiu Kwankwso”.
“Kwankwso has come with the encouragement that we deserve. Nigeria desire a change and the only man who can can cause that change to happen is Kwankwaso”.
“He fought insecurity when he ruled as Kano State governor without shading blood. I think if we give him the opportunity he can do same as Nigeria president.” Mr. Odey said.
