The Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 6, Usman Gomna has warned applicants to be wary of fraudsters and avoid falling prey to swindlers who might take advantage of the exercise to defraud unsuspecting applicants.
AIG Gomna stressed that the screening exercise is free of charge and will be conducted in a transparent and professional manner.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Zone 6, DSP Nelson Okpabi, stated this is in a statement issued to newsmen on Monday in Calabar.
According to the statement: “The Zone 6 Police Headquarters invites candidates from Akwa Ibom and Cross River States who were successful in the just concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT) in the ongoing 2020 recruitment to report for the Medical Screening Exercise”.
“The medical screening exercise is scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 23rd November to. 2nd December, 2021 between 8am – 3pm daily, at Zone 6 Police Clinic Calabar”.
“Those who participated in the recruitment screening CBT are to check their application status on the recruitment”.
“Candidates are to appear at the screening center in clean white T-shirts and shorts with the following: National Identity Card/Slip, Printout of medical screening slip (as obtained from the portal)”.
“Candidates are equally advised to stick to their allotted dates and time as the exercise would be carried out in strict compliance with the COVID-19 prevention protocols”.
“Candidates are equally advised to call 08100004507 for inquiries especially on the operations of the portal”, the statement said.
