Former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi

Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi (Magajin Garin Uke), a former Minister of Environment, under President Muhammadu Buhari, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress, (APC).
The former minister, announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the chairman of the ruling party in his Uke ward of Karu Local Government Area in Nasarawa State.
According to the letter, dated June 1, and copied to other officials, the former minister said his resignation from the ruling party was based on personal reasons.
He thanked the chairman for the cooperation while he was with the APC, where they made modest contributions in building the party in the state.
Recalled that duo, a couple of months ago accepted the clarion calls to contest the 2027 gubernatorial election in Nasarawa State.
Abdullahi had served Nasarawa State in various capacities, notably as Secretary to the State Government, where he contributed in no small measures to the growth and development of the State.
